Product Marketing Manager
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to inform the product development process with a lens on audience usability and adoption
- Create a thorough GTM strategy and plan that includes all stakeholders, deliverables, channels, and tactics
- Develop key messaging frameworks, positioning statements and value proposition for your defined target audiences
- Identify marketing program tactics, channels, and goals to support product adoption and growth
- Build customer-focused product content like playbooks, feature blogs, case studies, white papers, etc. that excites, inspires, and drives adoption
- Design thoughtful internal and external communication plans
- Lead cross-functional implementation of the product marketing/GTM plan
- Partner with regional sales leadership and product managers to set product adoption goals, develop execution strategies, track and analyze performance, and drive adoption of product features
- Communicate with sales leadership to distill and surface market feedback for new and existing product features
- Inspire action through data-driven insights and execute with operational rigor and efficiency
- Plan & execute internal training programs to educate the sales and customer-facing teams
- Ensure the right level of alignment, consistency, and flexibility in approach across product marketing organization to maximize growth and impact
- Mentor and lead a team of junior product marketers and digital marketing specialists to ensure the success of all marketing endeavors
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in engineering or management. MBA preferred.
- 6 - 8 years of product marketing experience in a software product development organization
- Well versed with customer & market development frameworks
- Developed & marketed content like a sales pitch, FAB/FFB statements, playbooks, battle cards, white papers, case studies, etc.
- Experience initiating and driving a range of GTM programs including, webinars, tradeshows, social media, content marketing, etc.
- Metric driven, comfortable in working with data to draw and share insights with stakeholders
- Good knowledge of HR and Payroll practice is a strong plus
- Excellent English presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality and attention to detail
- Self-directed and organized team player who is capable of hands-on-execution
