Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases on thorough understanding of requirements, specifications and technical design documents and execute the same.
Design, develop and execute the scripts using product knowledge, understanding the overall requirement and closing working with multiple teams
Identify, record, document the bugs thoroughly, work closely with the respective consultant or Developer to get the bugs addressed ontime
Perform preliminary debugging, analyzing the logs from the respective extracts, scripts to determine the issues or confirming the output
Perform thorough regression test to ensure no side effect on existing system due to bug fix or new feature development
Perform non-functional testing like performance and Security testing (based on the requirement)
Engage with internal teams (e.g. product managers and developers) to identify system requirements and Tech spec
Monitor debugging process results
Stay up to date with new testing tools and best test practices

Requirements:

2 to 4 years of Solid QA experience in testing web and mobile applications.
Knowledge of SDLC, Defect Life cycle
Proven work experience in testing web services
Hands on experience in web application log analysis for error detections
Hands on experience in test case management
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with functional testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing using selenium WebDriver with language either Java or JS will be a plus
Good communication skills
Ability to learn quickly
Experience testing in SaaS environment is a plus
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
