Your Role and Responsibilities
Description of Safer Payments:
IBM® Safer Payments enables the fraud prevention teams to adapt their controls faster to emerging threats and detect fraud with greater speed and accuracy without vendor or data scientist dependencies. It comprises the analytics and simulation tools needed to continuously monitor business performance and adapt the decision model to emerging and modified fraud patterns.
Description of Role:
You will be providing technical support to IBM® Safer Payments customers and help them to be successful of using the software. This involves troubleshooting the software issues by reviewing the logs and testing the user scenarios. You will also be working with Safer Payments development team on reporting and managing software defects reported by the clients. Our technical support team members work with many critical banks and payment processors that handle millions of transactions of a year. Our technical support team members are key with making our clients successful.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4 to 8 years of relevant Industry experience.
• The successful candidate should be a fast learner, a logical thinker and should have good verbal and written customer communication skills in English.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the Linux operating system, shell commands and log analysis.
• Good knowledge of Javascript, JSON, Python and basic knowledge of debugging C++ code in Visual Studio.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• In depth knowledge of C++ and Linux operating system is a bonus.
• Domain knowledge of payments industry is also preferred.
• Data Science terminology and concepts
• In-Depth knowledge of C++ and Visual Studio
• Shell scripting
• Ability to read/write in German or Japanese
• RedHat OpenShift
• PMML Experience
• Kafka Knowledge
