Responsibilities and Duties:

Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results

Enforces company policies and guidelines

Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques

Ensures that production plans are completed by a certain time

Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues

Counsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow

Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees

Creates and maintains professional schedules

Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed

Evaluates the condition of production equipment

Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers

Compiles and analyzes production records

Identify all issues in the team and provide continuous support to all members according to operating standards on an everyday basis.

Supervise effective working of production personnel and prepare effective production schedules and ensure compliance to all company policies.

Administer all work according to QRQC principles and recommend strategies to improve processes and reduce goals.

Maintain records of all data attendance and provide effective training to all staff members.

Coordinate with equipment and process teams and ensure compliance to all protocols and maintain product quality.

Prepare vacation schedule for all employees and ensure no effect on production.

Manage and prioritize all production processes and implement all production plans.

Ensure compliance with all local policies to achieve all production objectives and provide appropriate feedback to all employees.

Develop and maintain effective relations with all company employees at various levels of the organization.

Prepare necessary paperwork and administer all invoices on a spreadsheet and maintain records of all documents.

Analyze staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance to production schedules and budget for all production processes.

Evaluate and maintain all department budgets and analyze all variances for same.

Maintain and provide support to all 5-S programs and prepare a training program for all status boards.

Ensure compliance to workplace policies according to safety objectives.

Production Supervisor Skills and Qualifications

· Previous supervisory experience

· Excellent coaching and communication skills

· Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports

· Broad knowledge of production planning processes

· Strategic planning skills

· Comfortable working in an automotive manufacturing environment

· Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation
Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
