Job Description Essential Job Functions
Develops knowledge of sources of industry information and strengths / weaknesses of different information sources. Establishes networks and external contacts for research purposes. Applies knowledge of relevant industry events, vendors and technology advances to identify and summarize key issues for business groups. Locates and extracts pertinent data from web and traditional sources, summarizes data and develops information for use by senior team members. Conducts interviews with industry associations, government agencies, vendors to gather additional source information. Supports the creation of knowledge bases, vendor profiles, industry position papers, white papers, tools, news summaries and presentation to make available source information. Follows established methodologies, workflow and processes for utilization of time and resources within team guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related industry field preferred Three or more years of research and knowledge development experience, preferably in a consulting environment Experience working with standard research tools, techniques, and methodologies
