All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar, an Autonomous Institute of National
Importance is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare Institute established by the Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY).
JIPMER, Puducherry has been designated as the Mentor Institute for AIIMS, Bibinagar (Telangana).
JIPMER, Puducherry invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up of the
following faculty posts on contract basis
Professor /Additional
Professor /Associate

Professor
Essential Qualification:
Medical
i. A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or
Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council
Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in
part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions
specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.)
ii. A Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS in Anatomy or a
recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective
discipline or subject;
Non-Medical
i. Master’s Degree in Human Anatomy.
ii. A doctorate degree from a recognized University.
Experience:
Medical
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a
recognized institution in Anatomy after obtaining the
qualifying degree of M.D/MS in Anatomy or a qualification
recognized equivalent thereto.
Non-Medical
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a
recognized institution in Anatomy after obtaining the doctorate
degree.
Pay Scale: 1 Professor Rs.2,20,000/-
2 Additional Professor Rs.2,00,000/-
3 Associate Professor Rs.1,88,000/-
4 Assistant Professor Rs.1,42,506/-
Age: 1 Professor Not exceeding 58 years
2 Additional Professor Not exceeding 58 years
3 Associate Professor Not exceeding 50 years
4 Assistant Professor Not exceeding 50 years
Application Fee (₹500/- for UR & OBC and ₹250/- for SC & ST) must be submitted in the form of
Bankers Cheque or Demand Draft. No fee for PWD candidates.
