IIT Kharagpur jobs - Professor and Dean

The Institute is looking for a suitable candidate for the following position in Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSoM). VGSoM is an integral part of IIT Kharagpur and is its faculty of management studies. The School was initiated by a distinguished alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, Mr. Vinod Gupta, with a generous endowment and matching funds were made available by the MHRD. The School was set up in 1993 and has been offering Master of Business Administration (MBA) Postgraduate Degree of IIT Kharagpur as also Ph.D. in Management of IIT Kharagpur. The School is also engaged in various research and development activities towards creating the knowledge base in the given areas of study.

1. Posts: Professor and Dean — I (One) Post

2. The appointment is on contract for a period up to 3 years. The Professor is also required to work as Dean, Vinod Gupta School of Management.

3. Qualifications for the post: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in any of the following specializations and evidence of the ability to pursue independent high quality research.

4. Specialization: Strategic Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management.

5. Experience for the post of Dean: At least 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which 5 years should be at the level of Professor.

6. Level and Pay Matrix Level-14A Pay Matrix: Rs.159100-220200/-

7. Accommodation: Suitable residential accommodation as per rules will be provided in the Campus upon joining the Institute.

Preferably below 62 years
