Qualification :  1) A basic university qualification included in the Schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).  2) M.D./M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned.

Experience :   Nine years teaching experience in the specialty concerned after Postgraduate qualification; out of which at least four years should be as Associate Professor/ equivalent post in the specialty concerned. Research Publications Four (04) Research publications in Indexed Journal on Cumulative basis with minimum of 2 Research publications during the tenure of Associate Professor as 1st Author or as Corresponding author.

Pay Scale : Level - 17 (Rs.125200/-) - Existing Pay Structure : Rs.37400-67000 + 9500 GP

Associate Professor-Medical

Qualification :  1) A basic university qualification included in the Schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).  2) M.D,/M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned.

Experience :   Five years teaching experience in the specialty concerned after Postgraduate degree out of which at least four  years should be as Assistant Professor /equivalent post in the specialty concerned. Research publication Two (02) research publications in Indexed Journal during the tenure of Assistant Professor as 1st Author or as corresponding author.

Pay Scale : Level - 14 (Rs.118500/-) - Existing Pay Structure : Rs.37400-67000 + 8700 GP

Assistant Professor - Medical

Qualification :  1) A basic university qualification included in the Schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).  2) M.D,/M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned.

Experience :   Three years teaching experience in the specialty concerned in a Recognized Medical College as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor out of which one year should be after post-graduate Qualification.

Pay Scale : Level - 11 (Rs.67700/-) - Existing Pay Structure : Rs.15600-39100 + 6600 GP

Assistant Professor - Super - Specialty

No. of Post :  Neuro-surgery - 01 (Gen)

Qualification :  1) A basic university qualification included in the Schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).  2) M.D,/M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned.

Experience : As Registrar/Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor or an equivalent post in the concerned Super-specialty for three years in a Medical College recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Pay Scale : Level - 11 (Rs.67700/-) - Existing Pay Structure : Rs.15600-39100 + 6600 GP

Age Limit :  The candidates for the post of Faculty who are above 65 years of age but less than 69 years can also apply.
