Professor

Qualifications :  Ph.D. with First Class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with very good academic record throughout for Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor.

Experience :  Minimum 10 years teaching/ research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE, Mumbai and IISERs or at equivalent levels in other Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards, as may be so decided by the institute.  The candidate should have strong research record in terms of significant publications in renowned peer reviewed/referred national and international journals, conferences, patents, course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities, and experience of guiding a minimum of 2 successful Ph.D candidates.  In case of candidates from Industry, PSUs, MNCs and/or renowned Private Sector Organisations, a minimum experience of 10 years out of which 04 years at the level of Associate Professor.

Pay Scale  :  Pay Level 14A - (Pre-revised PB-4 (Rs.37400- 67000) with AGP of Rs.10500/- p.m.)

Associate Professor

Qualifications :  Ph.D. with First Class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with very good academic record throughout for Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor.

Experience :  A minimum of 6 years’ Teaching/Industry/ Research experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer in a research 2rganization or industry. The candidates should have experience in carrying out research independently and also guiding technology/ management students in Post Graduate and Doctoral programme. The candidate should have strong research record in terms of publications in renowned peer reviewed/referred national and international journals, and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Pay Scale  :  Pay Level 13A2 – (Pre-revised PB-4 (Rs.37400- 67000) with AGP of Rs.9500/- p.m.)

Age Limit : Preferably up to 45 Years

Assistant Professor

Qualifications :  Ph.D. with First Class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with very good academic record throughout for Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor.

Experience :   At least 3 years’ Industrial/ Research/ Teaching experience, excluding however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. The candidate should have demonstrated capabilities for carrying out research independently and have publications in reputed Technological/Industrial/ Scientific journals, conferences, national and international journals, and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Pay Scale  :  Pay Level 12 – (Pre-revised: PB-3 (Rs.l5600- 39100) with AGP of Rs.8000/-p.m.)

Age Limit : Preferably up to 35 Years
