Qualification  :  1. Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970. 2. 5 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned Subject or 5 Years Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay Rs. 7,600 with NPA. OR 15 Years Combined Experience in Teaching as Reader/Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned Subject or 15 Years Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600, Rs. 6,600 and Rs. 5,400 with NPA, respectively, out of which minimum 3 Years Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs. 7,600 with NPA. 3. Minimum 5 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals.

Pay Scale : Pay Level-13, Pay Matrix Rs. 1,23,100-2,15,900 + NPA admissible as per Central Government Rules.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 55 Years as on the Closing Date for receipt of Applications (Relaxable upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Community and Government/Autonomous Body Employees in accordance with order issued by the Central Government from time to time) (Relaxable up to 2 years in case of internal candidates).

Associate Professor

OR 10 Years of Combined Experience in Teaching as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned Subject or 10 Years Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600 and Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400, respectively, out of which at least 2 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600. 3. Minimum 3 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals.

Pay Scale : Pay Level-12, Pay Matrix Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 + NPA admissible as per Central Government Rules.

OR 10 Years of Combined Experience in Teaching as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned Subject or 10 Years Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with GP of Rs. 6,600 and GP of Rs. 5,400 respectively out of which at least 2 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with GP of Rs. 6,600. 3. Minimum 3 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals. OR Persons with 5 Years Regular Service out of which 3 Years in Post-Graduate Teaching in the concerned subject or 5 Years Research Experinece in the Pay Scale of PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600 + NPA. OR 10 Years Combined Experience of Teaching as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject or 10 Years Research Expereince in the Pay Scale of PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600 and Grade Pay Rs. 5,400, respectively with NPA out of which at least 2 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Expereince in PB3 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600. AND (i) PG Qualification in Ayruveda in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970. (ii) Minimum 3 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals.

Pay Scale : Pay Level-12, Pay Matrix Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 + NPA

Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 Years on the Closing Date.

Application Fee :  An Application Fee of Rs. 5000 (Rupees Five Thousand) (Rs. 4000 (Rupees Four Thousand for SC and ST Candidates) by DD only in favour of “Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur“ should be enclosed with the Application for each Post.
