Professor

Qualification : Ph.D. with First class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record A minimum of 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE, Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institutions(s) of comparable standards

Pay Scale : Rs. 1,59,100/-

Associate Professor

Qualification : Ph.D. with First class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record A minimum of 6 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or in any such other Indian or Foreign Institutions of comparable standards.

Pay Scale :  Rs. 1,39,600/- p.m.

Assistant Professor

 Qualification : Ph.D. with First class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record At least 3 years teaching / research / industrial experience, excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.

Candidates with less than 3 years of experience may be considered for Tenure Track for the regular post of Assistant Professor. • At the entry level, they may be placed at the appropriate level of VII CPC Scales of Pay of the Govt of India on par with other IITs

Pay Scale :  Grade I – VII CPC Pay Level : 12 with minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/- p.m. Grade II – VII CPC Pay Level : 10 with minimum pay of Rs. 70,900/- p.m.
