Qualifications :  Minimum Qualification for appointment of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor OR equivalent posts shall be governed by UGC Regulations on minimum qualification for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education 2018.

Emoluments:

1. Professor Rs. 144200/- per month plus allowances as per rules

2. Associate Professor Rs. 131400/- per month plus allowances as per rules

3. Assistant Professor Rs. 57700/- per month plus allowances as per rules

4. Guest Faculty Rs. 1500/- per lecture, maximum upto Rs. 50000/- per month.

5. Contractual Posts Entry level pay of the respective posts in teaching hierarchy

6. Adjunct Faculty Maximum upto Rs. 80000/- per month

Note: This is a Rolling Advertisement applicable to Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Contractual Posts/Guest Faculty/Adjunct Faculty which will remain valid upto academic session 2019-20 i.e. upto 30.6.2020. As and when sufficient number of applications are received, the interview shall be held.

Non-Teaching Posts:

Training & Placement Officer (L-12)

Qualification : Master’s Degree in Management with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale along with a good academic record with five years’ experience in relevant field. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

System Manager (L-12)

Qualification : First class M.E. /M.Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering) /Information Technology) or equivalent with five years of relevant experience in the field of software development, System Management and administration, ERP Solutions, networking etc. OR First class B.E./B. Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology) or equivalent with eight years of relevant experience in the field of software development, System Management and administration, ERP Solutions, networking etc. OR First class Master in Computer Applications (MCA) OR M.Sc. (Computer Science) with eight years of relevant experience in the field of software development, System Management and administration, ERP Solutions, networking etc.

Desirable: Cisco Certified Network Associate/ Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent certification.

System Engineer (L-11)

Qualification : First class M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science &Engineering)/Electronics & Communication Engineering) or equivalent with two years of relevant experience OR First-class B.E./B. Tech. (Computer Science &Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering) or equivalent with five years of relevant experience.

Desirable: Cisco Certified Network Associate/ Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent certification

Assistant Registrar (L-10)

Qualification : Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

Programmer (L-10)

Qualification : First class M.E. /M.Tech. (Computer Science &Engineering)/ Information Technology) or equivalent OR First-class B.E./B. Tech. (Computer Science &Engineering/ Information Technology) or equivalent with two years of relevant experience OR First class Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) with two years of relevant experience OR First class M.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with three years of relevant experience.

Desirable: Cisco Certified Network Associate/ Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent certification.

Workshop Superintendent (L-10) (Mech Engg.-TC)

Qualification :  Master’s degree in relevant Engineering subject OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering subject with atleast two years relevant professional experience.

Section Officer (L-7)

Qualification : 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognised University/Institute. 2. Three Years’ Experience as Assistant in the Level 6 OR five years’ experience as UDC or equivalent post in the Level 4 of any Central / State Govt./ University/ PSU and other Central or State Autonomous Institutions or holding equivalent positions in any reputed Private companies/ bank with annual turnover of Rs.200/- Crores. 3. Proficiency in Computer Operation, noting and drafting.

Programmer (L-7)

Qualification : First class M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science &Engineering)/ Information Technology) or equivalent OR First-class B.E./B. Tech. (Computer Science &Engineering/ Information Technology) or equivalent with two years of relevant experience OR First class Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) with two years of relevant experience OR First class M.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with three years of relevant experience.

Instructor (Drawing & Painting)(L-6)

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Fine Arts or Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with at least two years relevant experience.

Demonstrator (L-6) (Elec. Engg./Mech. Engg.)

Qualification :  Bachelor’s degree with atleast two years relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering with at least two years relevant experience.

Professional Assistant (L-6)

Qualification : 1. Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from any recognised University /Institution with one year experience in the relevant field in a University/Research establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions OR Bachelor’s Degree in Library / Library and Information Science from any recognised Institute/ University with three years’ experience in the relevant field in a University / Research Establishment / Central / State Govt./PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions. 2. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.

Assistant (L-6)

Qualification : 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognised University/Institute. 2. Three Years’ Experience as UDC in the Level 4 or five years’ experience as LDC in Level 2 of any Central/State Govt./University/PSU and other Central or State Autonomous Institutions or holding equivalent positions in any reputed Private companies/ bank with annual turnover of Rs.200/- Crores. Senior Technical Assistant (L-6)

Qualification : Master’s degree in relevant area like Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/ Environmental Science/Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognised university/institute OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant area like Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Environmental Science/Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognised university/institute and having at least two years’ experience in the field of related laboratory from any University/College/research laboratory OR Three years Diploma in Engineering with two years relevant experience Desirable: (i) Experience in handling laboratory equipment’s and computers (ii) Good command over English and Hindi

Workshop Instructor (Mech. Engg.-Carpentry) TC (L-6)

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with atleast two years relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering with atleast two years of relevant experience.

PA to Director (L-5)

Qualification :  Graduate with knowledge of short-hand and typing or with atleast two years office experience.

Technician Grade-1 (L-5) (Mech. Engg./H.Sc.)

Qualification : Graduation in relevant subject/discipline from any recognized Institution/ University with at least 50% marks as per the requirement of the department. Two years’ experience working in a laboratory in the University/College/Research or Industry. OR Three year Diploma in the relevant field from a recognised Polytechnic or equivalent approved institutions. Three years’ experience working in a laboratory in the University/College/Research or Industry.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications

Steno-Typist (L-5)

Qualification : Intermediate with a speed of 80/40 w.p.m. in short hand and typewriting respectively in English/ Hindi. Preferably graduate with two years’ experience.

Technical Assistant (Computers) (L-5)

Qualification : B.E/B.Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology) or Equivalent OR Master’s in Computer Application (MCA) or equivalent OR M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Science) from a recognized University /Institute OR B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA from recognized University or Institute with minimum two years’ experience in relevant field OR Three years Diploma in relevant field from a recognized Polytechnic / Institute with minimum three years’ experience in Government organisation / reputed private organisation with annual turnover of Rs.200/- Crores or above.

Senior Technical Assistant (L-5) (Mech. Engg.)

Qualification : Master’s degree in relevant area like Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Environmental Science / Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognised university/institute OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant area like Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Environmental Science / Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognised university/institute and having at least two years’ experience in the field of related laboratory from any University/College/research laboratory OR Three years Diploma in Engineering with two years relevant experience

Desirable: (i) Experience in handling laboratory equipment and computers (ii) Good command over English and Hindi

Computer Operator (L-4)

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with atleast two years relevant experience OR Postgraduate Diploma in Computers with atleast one years of relevant experience. Draftsman (L-4) (Mech. Engg.): Bachelor’s degree with relevant subject(s) OR Intermediate with ITI certificate in relevant trade with atleast two years relevant experience.

Technician Grade-II (L-4) (Botany/Psychology)

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with relevant subject OR Intermediate with ITI certificate in relevant trade with atleast two years relevant experience.

Semi Professional Assistant (L-4)

Qualification : Master’s Degree in Library Science and Information Science from any recognised University/Institution OR Bachelor’s Degree in Library/ Library and Information Science from a recognised Institute/ University with two years relevant experience in a University/ Research Establishment / Central / State Govt./ PSU Autonomous Institutions.

Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA.

L-1 - Rs. 18000/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-2 - Rs. 19900/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-3 - Rs. 21700/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-4 - Rs. 25500/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-5 - Rs. 29200/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-6 Rs. 35400/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-7 Rs. 44900/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-10 - Rs. 56100/- per month plus allowance as per rule

L-11 - Rs. 67700/- per month plus allowance as per rule

Selection Process :  Candidates are called for Seminar-cum-Presentation/Aptitude/Trade Test and Interview on the recommendations of the Screening Committee of the Institute and as such all applicants may not be called for interview.
