Qualification: 1. PhD Degree in Zoology/Aquatic Biology/Fisheries
with specification in Aquaculture/ Mari culture or
PhD in Aquaculture/ Mari culture.
2. A minimum of fifteen years of teaching experience
in a University/Research Experience in a National
or International Institute in the Field of
Aquaculture.
3. Five Years experience as Professor or equivalent
cadre as per ICAR/UGC norms applicable to Chair of
Eminence/Director of Research/Dean/Professor in
the UGC pay scale.
4. Record of Productive Research as indicated by
Published research work in international journals
with high impact factor and should also have five
years of experience in Research
Administration/Management. Administrative
experience in planning fisheries research,
preparation of projects and implementation/report
writing and resource generation
Remuneration: Rs.50000/-(Consolidated)

Project Scientist/Research Associate (Category No.2) /No of Positions 01
Qualification: Ph.D in Aquaculture/ Mari culture with through
understanding on fish of Fish culture/Hatchery
Management or MSC in Aquaculture/ MFSc with
specification in Aquaculture/MSC in Marine Biology with specification in Aquaculture with minimum
five years research experience in the field of Fish
culture/Hatchery Management Evidenced by
Minimum three Publications.
Remuneration : Rs.25000/-(Consolidated)
Contract period 1 year(Extendable up to the termination of
project as per availability of funds)

Research Fellow (Category No.3) /01 Post
Qualification: Masters Degree in Aquatic Biology/Fisheries/Marine Biology
with Specification in Aquatic Resource management/ M.F.Sc in
Fisheries with specification if Fisheries Research
Management/Aquatic Environment Management.
Remuneration : Rs.13000/-(Consolidated)
Contract period 1 year(Extendable up to the termination of project
as per availability of funds)

Project Scientist/Research Associate (Category No.4) /No of Positions 01
Qualification: 1. Ph.D in Management / Economics/ Statistics/ Food Processing/
Food Engineering
or
Post graduate in Management or Masters in Food Technology/
Food Processing Science or CA with at least 3 years of
teaching/industrial experience preferably in the
food/agriculture/fisheries sector
2. A publication record in entrepreneurship themes in quality
refereed national and international journals is expected as an
added qualification.
3. In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate effective
and innovative teaching/research practice at both undergraduate
and postgraduate levels in innovation, skill development and
entrepreneurship.
Desirable: Certificate /Diploma/ Degree in entrepreneurship from
a reputed institution
