Professor Food Engg. recruitment in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM)on Contractual Basis
Qualification: a. Ph.D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at Master's level In the relevant branch.* AND
b. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which at least 03 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. AND
c. At least 06 Research Publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals and at least 02 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/Co-supervisor. OR At least 10 Research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI
journals/ UGC/AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.
Master of Engineering/Technology in Food Engineering/Food Process Engineering/ Dairy Engineering /Dairy and Food Engineering/Post Harvest Process and Food
Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/Food Process Engineering and Management/ combination of any of these or related specializations will only be considered.

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) was conceptualized by Government of India on persistent demand of the food industry to have an apex body as a 'One Stop Solution Provider' for the various problems of the sector. Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India has set up this institute with an initial investment of Rs. 500 crore (US $100 million).
