Professor job vacancies in the Centre for Study of Social Change and Development at ISEC on contract basis

Essential Qualification :1. An eminent scholar with PhD qualification (s) in the concerned / allied /relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/ or research / policy papers.

2. A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks In Demography/ Population Studies / Statistics / Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology / Psychology / Anthropology. Persons with P.G. Degree other than Demography/ Population Studies should have completed a minimum one year regular course In Demography / Population Studies at a recognized Institution/ University. (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)

3. The minimum API score for applicants for the post of Professor shall be 400. during the assessment period of any three years in the immediately preceding period of six calendar years (January 1 to December 31) (to be filled in the attached Excel Sheet and submitted as soft copy)

4. A minimum of 10 years of experience of research / teaching at University / reputed research Institutes including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. This excludes the period spent for obtaining M.Phl I/PhD Degree Or

An Outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Desirable (with Supporting Documents) :Knowledge of Vernacular
