Kerala Academy of Pharmacy is bigheadedly located in Kattakada, Trivandrum which is prevalently known as soul of Kerala, India, established under the Trust of Pankajakasthuri Herbal Research Foundation, foundation that laid by a young and full of life Ayurveda physician and impresario – Dr. J. Hareendran Nair, Founder and Managing Director Pankajakasthuri group of enterprises, also honoured with Padma Shri by Government of India for his mammoth services to the cause of Ayurveda. He is a man who wriggled to gain a foothold, and did not lose his traction in the business arena. In 1996, he began manufacturing Ayurveda products that were sold over the kiosk under the brand name Pankajakasthuri. Momentarily with evolution came his first self-financed Ayurveda Medical College in Kerala is Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College & only group in the state to achieve the standards of ISO 9002 certification.
