Job Description

No.NUALS/ADMN/EST/A 3/1505/Prof.D/2019 

Professor ( Law ) job Position in National University of Advanced Legal Studies on contract basis

Applications are invited from eligible Teachers working in the University/Government Law Colleges, to be appointed as Professor ( Law ) ,on Deputation basis University of Advanced Legal Studies .

Eligibility :Teachers presently working in any of the Universities /Government Law Colleges ,with qualifications and experience as per the UGC Regulations ,for appointment of Professors ,are eligible to apply .

ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

Scale of Pay : As per UGC Regulations and on usual terms of deputation . Duration of Appointment : Initially for a period of One Year ,which can be extended for further term up to five years .

By the same Act, the National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) established by the Bar Council of Kerala Trust in 2002 merged with the NUALS. In 2008, an amendment streamlined the powers and functions of the authorities of the University and ensured the active involvement of the Government of Kerala.The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission under section 2(f) of the UGC Act.It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
