Professors/ Post Code - Faculty/002

No. of Posts :  29 (UR – 11, EWS – 03, SC – 05, ST – 02, OBC - 08)

Qualification :  A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/ M.Ch of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

Experience :  14 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/ M.Ch.

Pay Scale :  Level 14 A in pay matrix as per 7th CPC


Additional Professors/ Post Code - Faculty/002C

No. of Posts :  22 (UR–09, EWS–02, SC–04, ST-01, OBC-06)

Qualification :  A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD / MS of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

Experience :  10 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/ MS.

Pay Scale :  Level-13A2 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC


Associate Professors/ Post Code- Faculty/002B

No. of Posts :  35 (UR–14, EWS–03, SC–06, ST-02, OBC-10)

Qualification :  A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD / M.Ch  of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

Experience :  6 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/ M.Ch.

Pay Scale : Level-13A1 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC


Assistant Professors/ Post Code- Faculty/002A

No. of Posts :  70 (UR – 27, EWS – 07, SC – 13, ST – 06, OBC – 17)

Qualification :  A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD / M.Ch of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

Experience :  3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/ M.Ch.

Pay Scale : Level-12 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC

Application Fee :

SC/ST - Rs. 500/-

For all others - Rs.1000/-

Selection Procedure :  The application of the candidates which will be received with in prescribed date and time and who submit the requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute and only the eligible candidates will be called for personal interview before the Standing Selection Committee of the Institute. In case the number of applicant are large, the selection committee of the Institute may devise a criteria for short-listing the candidates which may include holding of written examination.
