Scale: Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200 (Level 14)
Tenure: Initial period of 3 years, extendable for another period of two years on satisfactory performance.
Educational Qualification: An eminent scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books and/or research policy papers. Master degree in Economics
Experience: A minimum of ten year's experience of post-graduate teaching and/or research at a University/National level institution, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level (Ph.D.).
Specialization: Specialization must be in accordance with the MoU with RBI in the field of monetary and financial economics, banking and real sector issues and related area of interest of RBI.
Duty of RBI - Chair- Professor: Supporting the Reserve Bank’s decision making process on policies through research and promoting of higher levels of learning in the University in monetary and financial economics, banking and real sector issues and related areas of interest to the Reserve Bank. Teaching and Research in CESP, SSS, JNU, New Delhi.
Age Limit: Maximum age 65 years
