Job Description:
Auditor will have the following education and skill set characteristics:
(i) A high school diploma or GED. An Associates degree is preferred, with a focus in health care administration, business, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university;
(ii) One (1) to three (3) years of related experience in a hospital or health insurance company in provider relations, contract management, configuration, or other related health care revenue cycle functions; (
(iii) Proficient skills in contract interpretation that includes rates, amendments, terminology with a strong comprehension of limitations, and the insurance industry process and procedures;
(iv) Knowledge of workers compensation regulations and reimbursement methodology;
(v) Strong decision making and problem-solving skills;
(vi) Familiarity with the CPT-4, ICD-9/10, and MS-DRG/APR-DRG and UB-04 claim form;
(vii) Analytical and/or calculation skills;
(viii) Knowledge of accounts receivables;
(ix) Understanding of managed care contracts; and
(x) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Collector will have the following education and skill set characteristics:

(iii) Excellent verbal and written skills;
(iv) A strong understanding of Payer requirements and Payer reimbursement; and
(v) Ability to prioritize effectively.
(vi) Knowledge of the hospital revenue cycle, including reimbursement, Payer contracts and reimbursement, and the government reimbursement methodology;
(vii) Excellent contract interpretation skills, including understanding of rates, amendments, reimbursement methodology, terminology, and a strong comprehension of the insurance industry process, procedures and limitations;
(vi) Strong decision making and problem solving skills; and
(vii) The ability to multitask and set priorities.
