1. Programmer /1 UR

Qualification: (1) First Class M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / Information Technology OR

(1) M.C.A / M..Sc in (Computer Sciences/Computer Application /Information Technology)

Minimum Experience: 8 years experience of programming in University/ Government / SemiGovernment / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.

Age Limit: Below 45 Years

2. Electronics Engineer (Beside the current designation the candidate is bound to work as per University Authority’s requirement) /No.of Post: 1 UR

Qualification: (1) M.E/M.Tech in Electrical / EC / Electronics with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade.

(2) Eight years' experience in a Network Administration & Server Management.

Age Limit: Below 45 Years

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 (GP-5400)

3. Warden (Ladies Hostel)-Females only (Fix Pay for First Five Years) /1 UR

Qualification: Graduate with Experience in Hostel Management

Age should not be less than : 35 years.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 (GP-4400)

4. Storekeeper (Physics)(Fix Pay for First Five Years) (Beside the current designation the candidate is bound to work as per University Authority’s requirement)/1 UR

Qualification:Bachelors of Science Degree with at least 55% of marks or its Equivalent Grade in Relevant Subjects and Minimum Experience of Three years of Handling purchase of Scientific Equipment and Consumables.

Essential: 1. Good knowledge of computer applications. Knowledge of office management, computer office application.

Age Limit: Below 40 Years

6. Head Clerk (Fix Pay for First Five Years) /1 ST

Qualification: (1) Master degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade with 5 years of experience in Administration/ Accounts/ Secretarial work/ Legal Matters/ Academic and Examination affairs, preferable in a University, Government / Semi-Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations. OR

(1) Bachelor Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade with 7 years of Experience in Administration/ Accounts/ Secretarial work, preferable in a University, Government / Semi-Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.

Selection Procedure: The Gujarat University will conduct 2(two) test for Selection of Candidate.

(1) The First test is Preliminary test will be conducted on 19-01-2019.

(2) Second Test is Subject / Technical Proficiency test will be conducted on 27-01-2019

The Gujarat University was conceived in the nineteen twenties in the minds of public-spirited and learned men like Gandhiji, Sardar Patel, Acharya Anandshankar B. Dhruva, Dada Saheb Mavlankar, Kasturbhai Lalbhai and many others. However, the University could come into existence only after the achievement of independence.In 1949, the University was incorporated under the Gujarat University Act of the State Government ‘as a teaching and affiliating University.’ This was done as a measure of decentralisation and reorganization of University education in the then Province of Bombay.
