Job Description

1. Name of the Post : Project Assistant II

2. Title of the Project : “Fate and Transport Studies of Nanomaterials in Terrestrial and aquatic systems”

3. Number of positions : Two [02]

4. Qualification : M.Sc./M.Tech (Biotechnology/Nanoscience/ Nanotechnology).Selected candidates need to join immediately.

a) UG:B.Sc in Bio-Chemistry,B.Tech/B.E. in Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology

b) PG:M.Tech in Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology,MS/M.Sc(Science) in Bio-Chemistry

5. Desirable (if any) : a. Experience in detailed characterization of nanoparticles
b. Previous work on Ecotoxicology of nanomaterials
c. Exposure to column studies

6. Stipend : Rs.25000/- per month (consolidated) 

7. Salary: 2,50,000 - 2,75,000 P.A.

8. Sponsoring Agency : CEFEES, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO),NEW DELHI

9. Duration : 1 year.

10. Principal Investigator : Dr. Amitava Mukherjee, Senior Professor and Director, Centre for Nanobiotechnology [CNBT], VIT.

Co-Principal Investigator : Dr. Mrudula Pulimi, Associate Professor, Centre for Nanobiotechnology [CNBT], VIT.

Key skills : Nanotechnology, Characterization, Toxicology.
