Essential Qualifications : M.Tech / M.E (Ocean Engineering / Marine structures / Coastal and Harbour Engineering/Coastal Management OR M.Sc Physical Oceanography with minimum 2 years research experience in the relevant field OR B.E / B.Tech (Civil) with minimum 2 years research experience in the relevant field

Project Assistant-III/ Number of positions: 1

Consolidated Stipend per month: Rs. 28000

Project Title and code: Studies to ascertain the impact on flood discharge, stability of shoreline and Kanika Sand Island by implementing revised Master Plan of Dhamra Port - Part I

Desirable: Project work during ME/MTech/MSc related to coastal physical process/coastal sediment transport / coastal geomorphology studies will be given preference

Job requirement: Data collection and analysis of coastal physical parameters. Preparation and deployment of coastal moorings. Surf zone data collection. Numerical model simulations of coastal processes. Computer programming and report writing.
