Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Project Assistant

Title or project : Comparing the Disparate Impacts of Oak and Chir Pine Tree Species on their Local Hydrological and Hydroclimatic Regimes in the West-Central Himalayas

Sponsor of the project : National Institute of Science Education and Research Bhubaneswar

Project position(s) and number : Project Assistant, One

Essential Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering

Emoulments : 20000/- per months Consolidated

Duration : Initially tor 6 months; may extend up to duration of Ihe project based on performance

Job description : The work involves field visits and stays in the Himalayan region to perform:

(i) Field instrumentation;

(ii) Stream, spring now an sediment data collection,

(iii) Data compilation.
