Job Description

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.

1. Name of Post: Project Assistant

2. Name of Project: Conflict between replication and transcription drives mutagenesis and antibiotic resistanceFunding agency    DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance

3. Minimum Educational qualification: Master of Science (M.Sc.) in any field of biological sciences including bioinformatics

4. Preference: Strong theoretical and experimental background in Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics

5. Number of posts: Up to two posts (preferably for a candidate with experience in molecular biology, microbiology, bacteriology).

6. Fellowship amount: Rs. 20,000

7. Tenure of the post 1-year (renewable upon satisfactory performance)

Age Limit:
Preferably not above 30
