Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for Project Associate I (2 posts) to work in a CSIR-sponsored project in the area of ‘Anti-virulent compounds from microalgae’ (Project No. MLP0062) with project duration of 3 years

Project Associate I: 2 Posts

Qualifications:M Sc. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology (OR) Physiology/ M. V. Sc.

Job requirement/ Desirable

The selected candidates will have to work on screening of antivirulent compounds, mode of action studies, in-vivo assay etc.
 
Candidates having research expertise in microbiology, molecular biology methods, animal handling / or having GATE/NET qualification will be given preference.

Emoluments:Rs.31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level  examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions Rs.25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

Age limit*35 years, Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

*Relaxation in age / qualification as per CSIR norms.
