Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engaging the following Project Personnel in Atomic
Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD) purely on temporary contract basis
2. Project Associate-I (Geology / Geophysics / Electronics Engineer) Two years, extendable for one more year, as per functional need and co-terminus with the duration of the project
Project Associate-I: Project Associates, based on their knowledge/experience on various advanced
geophysical techniques engaged to be associated with the senior scientists of AMD to decipher the
disposition of mineralized zones, so as to define the controls of ore body and guide the drilling
strategy and also to measure the geophysical parameters of rock samples. This would aid in
sophisticated modeling and inversion of data to understand the ore forming process, which in turn
would result in discovering promising zones that host uranium ore bodies.

M.Sc. or equivalent M.Tech. in Geology / Applied
Geology / Applied Geochemistry with Geology at
B.Sc. or 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech./M.Tech. in
Applied Geology/Geological Technology. Eligible
candidates must have two subjects out of
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry up to B.Sc.
or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of
5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech/ 5-year integrated
M.Tech., with minimum of 60%* aggregate marks
in M.Sc. Tech./ M.Tech. All eligible candidates
(other than those applying with a 5-year
integrated M.Sc. Tech./ M.Tech. degree) must
have a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in
B. Sc.
* A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as
per the ordinances of the respective university.
