NIAB jobs - Project Associate-I

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB),Hyderabad. One position of Project Associate-I against DBT funded project entitled “Studies on the immunodominant proteins of the zoonotic pathogen, Brucella to develop improved diagnostic assays and vaccines for brucellosis” PI: Dr. Girish K Radhakrishnan.

2. No of Post: 01

3. Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised university or equivalent.

4. Fellowship amount:

(i) Candidates with NET or GATE or undergone a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions will be paid Rs. 31,000/-PM+24% HRA = 38,440/- PM as per the DST guidelines.

(ii) Candidates who do not fall under (i) above will be paid 25,000/-PM+24% HRA=31,000/-PM as per the DST guidelines.

5. Desired Experience: Candidates having prior experience in infectious diseases and vaccine development will be preferred.
