ADVERTISEMENT NO. NIO/HRM/21-22/51

CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography, a constituent national laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Institute (CSIR),invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the following project staff, purely on a temporary contractual basis to carry out research work on the R&D project and to be engaged in NIO Head Quarters, Goa.

A. Position: Project Associate-I

1. Project Vacancy Details: Geo-Morphological studies and EIA/EMP for the sand Mining Clusters of Rivers in Goa Part -1

2. Vacancy Code: GAP3337/2183-21

3. Tenure: 12 Months

4., Essential Qualification: M.Sc /M. Tech /M.Sc Tech in Geophysics / Marine Geophysics / Exploration Geophysics

5. Desirable Qualification & Job Requirement:

Knowledge in programming language Fortran/C/C++/ Matlab and operating system Unix/Linux.The selected candidate will need to assist the project Leader in acquisition, processing, modelling and interpretation of seismic/geophysical data.

6. No. of. Post: 02

7. Monthly Emoluments (Rs.): Rs.25000/- Plus HRA as per rules
