Job Description

Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites application for the position Project Associate I/Junior Research Fellow

Project: “Molecular breeding to develop resistance against anthracnose (fruit rot) in chilli”

Post Name: Project Associate-I/Junior Research Fellow

No. of Post: 01

Salary: Rs. 31000 p.m. +24% HRA for Project Assoc-I & 31000/ + 24% HRA for first two years and Rs35000/- + 24%HRA from 3 rd year (for JRF)

Projects: Leveraging genetic resources for accelerated genetic improvement of Linseed using approaches.

Essential Qualification and desirable experiences: Post graduate degree in basic science or post graduate degree in professional courses (Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Genetics/ Botany or other related fields of plant sciences) (DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated 21-08-2019).

Desirable experience in pathological and molecular techniques

Age Limit: 35 years
