Job Description

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Project Associate” in a SAC-ISRO funded research project ‘Potential of dual frequency Polarimetric SAR images to understand the effect of drainage congestion due to road network on the flood inundation in the Kosi Fan.

Name of the Post: Project Associate -1; Number of the Post - 01

Profile of qualifications: Master's (M.Sc./Tech/MS) degree in Geology/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing and GIS/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% in aggregate or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 and above on a 10 point scale.

Candidate qualified national level examination (i.e.; NET/GATE/INSPIRE-PhD, etc.) with a valid score card will be given preference.

Desirable: Proficient in handling and working with SAR remote sensing data. Experience in working with ArcGIS, Python, MATLAB and SAR data processing.

Salary: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as applicable)
