Job Description

Positions of Project Associate-1 - GS Khush Institute of Genetics, Plant Breeding and Biotechnology

Applications are invited on the prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- as online payment in favor of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana

Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000

B. Sc. Biotechnology/Agriculture/ Horticulture/Biosciences with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.

Note-I: The candidates who do not possess a Masterâs degree in the relevant subject but possess a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Masterâs level shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Applicant must have passed the GATE/CSIR-UGC_NET/ARS-NET/DBT-BET or an equivalent national level test. If a suitable candidate with NET is not available, then the non NET candidate can be selected at monthly emoluments of Rs. 25000+16% HRA

Note-III: Desirable qualifications: Experience of working in the relevant area

Maximum age: 35 years
