Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Project Consultant 

Title of project: Selection guidelines for constructed wetland systems for treatment of sewage in India

Sponsor of the project: NMCG, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India

Post Name: Project consultant

No. of Post: 01

Essential: PhD in Bioscience/ Chemistry/Environmental Science with 20 years of research and supervision experience

Desirable: candidates should have relevant research experience in the area of wastewater treatment, constructed wetlands, water quality as well as high quality research papers as in reputed journals

Salary: Project consultant: Rs. 75,000/- pm. + HRA

Duration: 01 year or until the project end date, whichever earlier

Job description: collection of data on exiting constructed wetland systems, design and performance, filed work, water quality parameter, laboratory work, report writing
