1. Project Director (IT)
Group – “A”/ (UR – 01)
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Information
Technology/ Computer Science
& Telecommunication
Engineering
OR
Master Degree in Computer
Science/
Applications/IT/Electronics
Minimum 20 years post
qualification experience in
reputed industry/ organization
related with power sector.
However, in case of deserving
candidates, the limit of 20 years
may be trimmed down.
The desired candidates should
have – Past and proven experience as
IT Director/ Project Director or
similar role; Experience in analysis,
implementation and
evaluation of IT systems and
their specifications; Sound understanding of
computer systems (hardware/
software),networking, etc; Sound knowledge in SAP,
ERP and Oracle; Experience in controlling
information technology
budget; Excellent organizational and
leadership skills; Outstanding communication
abilities.
Preference will be given to the IT
professionals of Power Sector.
Scale of Pay: In case of candidate having the age of below 60
years or in-service candidates to be appointed on
deputation, pay will fix up at level 20 in the pay
matrix as per “Tripura State Civil Services (Revised
Pay) Rules, 2018” w.r.t. Pay Band Scale: Rs. 37400-
67000 (HAG + Scale),Grade Pay: Rs. 8700/- plus
other admissible allowances; subject to revision by
the Government from time to time. In case of retired candidates, Rs.80, 000/- (Rupees
eighty thousand only) per month on consolidated
basis, subject to revision by the Government from
time to time (without linkage of pension drawn from
previous service, if any).
Maximum 65

have – Past and Proven
experience as Project
Manager/ IT coordinator
or similar role; Experience in network
management and help
desk support is
appreciated; Solid knowledge of IT
systems and applications; Understanding of TCP/IP
protocols and LAN/WAN
configuration; Sound knowledge in SAP,
ERP and Oracle; Ability to troubleshoot
and repair issues; Strong communication
and interpersonal skills; Excellent organizational
and coordination abilities.
Preference will be given to the IT
professionals in Power Sector.
Pay will fix up at level 17 in the pay matrix as per
“Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules,
2018” w.r.t. Pay Band Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-4),Grade Pay: Rs. 7000/- plus other admissible allowances;
subject to revision by the Government from time to
time.

Project Executive (IT)/11 (UR – 06, ST – 03,
SC - 02)
Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. in Information
Technology/ Computer Science
& Telecommunication
Engineering

Science/ Applications/ IT/
Electronics.
Minimum 3 years post
qualification experience in
reputed industry/ organization
related with power sector.
However, in case of deserving
candidates, the limit of 3 years
may be reduced. The desired candidates should
have – Past and Proven experience as
Projective Executive/ IT
Executive/ IT Analyst/ IT
Consultant or similar role; Experience in project management; Knowledge of databases,
system security and
troubleshooting; Understanding of business
practices; knowledge in SAP, ERP and
Oracle; Excellent communication
skills; Analytical mindset; Problem-solving aptitude.
Preference will be given to the IT
professionals in Power Sector.
Pay will fix up at level 13 in the pay matrix as per
“Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules,
2018” w.r.t. Pay Band Scale: Rs. 10230-34800/- (PB-3),Grade Pay : Rs. 4800/- plus other admissible
allowances; subject to revision by the Government from
time to time.
Maximum 40
(forty) years as
