1. Project Engineer /1Post

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University/ Institutions.

Essential Experience: Working experience as an Executive Engineer or Assistant Executive Engineer in a Government or Semi Government organization on regular basis especially in Building/ Bridge Civil Construction Works.

2. Accounts Officer /1Post

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Arts/Science from a recognized University.

Essential Experience: (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis or (ii) 5 years regular service in the pre- revised pay scale Rs.6500 – 10500 or with 8 years regular service in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.5500 – 9000/- (b) Passed in the Subordinate Accounts Service/JAO or equivalent examination conducted by any of the Accounts Department of the Central Government.

Desirable: Working experience in the Accounts Finance & Budgetary matters and other related field / Organized Accounts Cadre / Assam Financial Services etc

3. Administrative Officer/ 1Post

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Arts/Science from a recognized University.

Desirable: having working experience in the administration and establishment and other related fields.

Essential Experience: (i) Holding analogous post

(ii) At least 5 years service as Assistant Administrative Officer/Section Officer in the pre-revised scale 6500-10500 or 8 years service as Office Superintendent in the pre-revised scale 5500-9000 in Government or Semi Government department/autonomous bodies on regular basis.

Age: Below 56 years

4. Nursing Tutor /1 (UR)

Qualification : First Class M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized University/Institution or M.Sc. in Nursing with Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent qualification.

Desirable: 2 years teaching experience in Psychiatric Nursing.

5. Psychiatric Social Worker /1 (UR)

Qualification : i) First or Second Class (55%) Master’s Degree in concerned specialty from a recognized Institution / University. ii) M. Phil. in PSW (2 years Course) in concerned specialty from a recognized university /Institution.

Essential Experience: 2 years teaching & research experience as PSW in a Mental Hospital, Child Guidance or Psychiatric Department of a General Hospital/ recognized teaching Institutions.

Desirable: i) Research /published work in indexed journals. ii) Working knowledge on local /regional language. Note: Essential experience may be relaxed at the discretion of the Selection Committee if a person is found otherwise suitable.

Age: 35 years

6. X- Ray Technician /2UR

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Radio-diagnosis Technology/Radiographer/X-Ray Technique from a recognized University/Institution.

Age: 30 years

7. Laundry supervisor cum Boiler Attendant /open

Qualification : Matriculate/SSLC with First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate granted by Government Board of any state or union territory.

Candidates should have minimum 01 (one) year experience as in-charge with First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of a single boiler with steam pipes of any type or capacity of two or more boilers whose total minimum heating surface is 300 square meter.

Candidates should be conversant with operation of oil fired boilers and experience in maintenance of boiler independently.

Age: 30 years

The Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) was initially set up as Tezpur Lunatic Asylum under the British Government in April, 1876. In 1922 the hospital was rechristened as Tezpur Mental Hospital. With the progress in the field of psychiatry across the globe, steps were also taken to develop this hospital with modern facilities.
