Varroc Lighting Systems jobs - Project Engineer – Catia V5

DEPARTMENT: Product Development

REPORTS TO: General Manager

Responsibilites

Should be able to design Automotive Lighting Products in Catia V5 from given A-Surface to complete functional Lamps with required feasibility studies – like Geometric Visibility, Mounting Concepts, Aiming Requirements, Regulatory requirements etc.
Should be able to Co-ordinate working closely with design Team related to CAE, Optics etc Team.
Understand the Customer’s work requirement and project deliverables (Project time estimation, quality and commit delivery dates).
Participating in Design Reviews with Cross Functional PD & Manufacturing Team.
Meeting the quality Procedure/Standards for CAD Design of Components (assembly & part Level).
Maintaining the Time records, data Management using TCe/GBC & project Details.
Design Products meeting the required Component Tool Design requirements. Should have good Knowledge of Plastic Mold design Requirements.
Working Knowledge of design documents DFMEA, DVP, Reliability Matrix etc

Education Requirement(s)

B.E – (Mechanical Engineering Engineering)

Experience Requiremens

2-4 Years in Automotive Lighting Design, using Catia V5

Additional Information

Lighting Product Design (Like Head Lamp, Tail Lamp, Fog Lamp etc.) for Automotive applications using CAD s/w -Catia V5 s/w in close coordination with PD Team.
