JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Engineer will be a single point responsibility for end-to-end co-ordination during execution of Instrumentation works under assigned project. It involves the coordination with Engineering team, Supply chain management, Vendor, Expeditors, Construction team and Client. Project Engineer has to ensure readiness of Field and Package Instrumentations as per the project schedule with strict compliance to Customer specifications, Vendor requirements, Quality standards and HSE norms.
Responsible to deliver the assigned scope meeting the Quality Technical norms within the agreed delivery period and assigned cost.
Proper understanding of the project Contract and technical specifications
Review of MR / Vendor offers for its compliance to the ITB requirements.
Review of Post order Engineering documentation, Inspection requirements, Preservations documentations, Job specific method statements etc. especially with respect to interface management, Integration of equipment has and packages, optimization of quantities and timely ordering.
Liaise with Vendors to meet schedule targets & construction priorities.
Liaise with Sub-Contractor for timely Installation and Commissioning of Electrical systems
Liaison with Project Controls / contracts for Invoicing and forecasting and change order management.
Ensure compliance of the HSE plan at all stages of project.
Assist in pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
Demonstrate effective trouble shooting during commissioning and plant start-up
Assist in resolution of site queries, field engineering issues and submission of as-built documentation.
Assist in Project Closeout activitiesDesired Profile:
Experience of working on EPC projects in Refinery / Petrochemical / Gas Processing / Fertiliser projects for reputed organizations.
Experience of complete project lifecycle for atleast one project.
For a position in Domestic EPC project, candidate must have an experience of 7-10 years and should have worked on atleast two projects with value more than 500 Crores.
For a position in International EPC project, candidate must have an experience of 10-15 years and should have worked on atleast two International projects with value more than 150M USD
In depth knowledge of Codes and Industry Standards applicable to Instrumentation items
Hands on experience in execution of Instrumentation for Packages, Field Instruments, DCS, PLC, F&G, BMS, Analysers, HVAC, CCTV and Field Instrument.
Experience of working on Saudi Aramco, PDO, KOC / KNPC projects is preferred.
Conversant with EIL /PDIL specifications for domestic projects
Conversant with Saudi Aramco Engineering standards & Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedure for International projects
PMP/IPMA certification will be added advantage
Sound knowledge of Project Management Techniques and Project Management Tools like Primavera, MS Project, MS Office
Good Interpersonal Skills, Oral & written communication, Team player
Leadership skills, Decision making, Risk assessment, Planning, Stake holder management, Negotiation skills
