Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites application for the position Project Engineer

Project entitled: "Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur" 

Number of positions: One

Minimum Qualification: M.Tech OR B.Tech* in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Materials Science. with 3 years* of relevant experience

Essential Experience:
a) The candidate should have significant knowledge Canva for Graphic Design and presentations, Flip a Clip for animations, Adobe Illustrator for illustrations, Adobe Sketchbook for Product Sketching and Fusion 360 for 3D CAD Modelling
b) The candidate should have hands on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU MCU Programming Languages - Python and C++.
c) The candidate should have experience in the working on watch prototypes, 3D Printing, Touch Sensors, Haptics

Job Description: The candidate's major tasks and responsibilities will include. Knowledge of Raspberry Pi, IOT, and Arduino, Knowledge of 3D Cad Modelling preferably in Fusion 360. Hands on PCB Design in Eagle. Python, and C++, Human Centred Design Approach towards device making, Fluent in graphic design, animations, and presentations.

Consolidated Salary range: INR 26400-2200-66000 per month.

Term of Appointment: One year or till the end of project, whichever is earlier?
