Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) invites application for the position Project Executive

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Technical support to ongoing ERP operations:

a) Understand the business processes of IIMB and of the current ERP system.

b) Provide operational support to end users.

c) Develop functional enhancements, reporting requirements and new functionality development.

Experience and Educational qualification:

a) Candidate should be a graduate, preferably in engineering, computer science, science, mathematics, BCA with strong programming skills.

b) Certificate / Diploma in programming related skills will be an added advantage.

c) Hands-on work experience of minimum 2-4 years with expertise in the technology platforms mentioned above is essential.

This position is on contract. Selected candidates should be prepared to take up the assignment immediately. Maximum age limit for being appointed under these rules will ordinarily not exceed 60 years for non-teaching staff, subject to the discretion of the Director (IIM-B).

Key Skills / Abilities/ Knowledge required:

a) Good understanding of the software development lifecycle

b) Good understanding of application software packages and systems

c) Ability to adhere to coding structure and standards, code documentation practices mandated / recommended by the ERP product.

d) Initiative, self-motivation and an ability to work with minimal guidance.

e) Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PLSQL – stored procedures, Oracle Forms/Reports

f) Java development experience desirable

g) Developing web front-ends using HTML / PHP/ Javascript

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for being appointed under these rules will ordinarily not exceed 60 years for non-teaching staff, subject to the discretion of the Director (IIM-B).
