Job Description

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position of ‘Project Fellow’ to work in the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA2.0) sponsored thematic research project in Biological Sciences under the supervision of Dr. K. Premkumar, Professor and Head, Department of Biomedical Science, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli -620 024.

1. Name of the Post : Project Fellow (One number)

2. Title of the Project : Effect of Anthocyanidins in Circumventing Hypoxia Induced Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition.

3. Area of Work: Genetics and Epigenetics of Cancer

4. Duration: 2 years The position is purely temporary with an initial appointment for one year, and extendable to one additional year. The position is co-terminus with the project.

5. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc (Biomedical Science / any branch of Life Sciences) with minimum of 60%marks / CGPA 6.1 and above;

6. Desirable: Research experiences including Isolation and characterization of phytocompounds.

7. Fellowship: Rs.14,000/-pm (consolidated)

Age Limit:

Upper age limit 28 years (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST)
