Job Description

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position of Project Fellow to work In the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA2.0) sponsored the major research project “Component 10 : Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement” – Biological Sciences under the supervision of Dr. S. R. Sivakumar, Assistant Professor ,Department of Botany, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli -620 024.

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Title of the Project: Process and Product development from Bioresources for Human Health and Environment

4. Area of work: Anti tuberculosis compounds from Macro algae

5. Duration: 2 Years The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, and extendable to one additional year. The position is co-terminus with the project.

6. Qualifications: Essential: M.Sc. or M.Phil (Botany) with minimum of 60%marks/CGPA 6.1 and above

7. Desired: Macro algae compound isolation, characterization,and in-silico and in-vitro assays

8. Fellowship : Rs.14,000/-pm (consolidated)

Age Limit:

Upper age limit 28 years (Relaxation: 5years for SC/ ST)
