National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) invites application for the position Project Field Worker
1. Name of the posts: Project Field Worker

Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science subjects with two years field/laboratory experience* in Govt. recognized organization. *B.Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years experience
Desirable: 3 - 5 years experience of working on research studies in rural areas. Prior experience in tablet based data collection in the community.
Nature of duties: Data Collection in rural areas from households like taking consent, administrative of questionnaire based data collection and anthropometry (height, weight) data collection.
Consolidated emoluments: Rs.20,000/-p.m fixed without any other allowances.
Tenure: Initially 6 months and extendable as per the project requirement.
Place of work: Field site located with a distance of 25 km from ICMR-NIN

Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science subjects with two years Optometrist experience* in Govt.l recognized organization OR Diploma in ophthalmic assistants course (2 years) from a recognized Institute. Candidate to be registered in the Telangana Para Medical Council. 2-3 years experience of working as an optometrist in any Institute or in any research studies.
Desirable: Prior experience in data collection in the community and fundus imaging.
Nature of duties: Primarily, conducting eye examination using optometric equipment fundus examination etc. along with data collection in rural areas from households like taking consent, administrative of questionnaire based data collection and anthropometry (height, weight) data collection whenever required.
Consolidated emoluments: Rs.20,000/-p.m fixed without any other allowances.
Tenure: Initially 6 months and extendable as per the project requirement.
Place of work: Field site located with a distance of 25 km from ICMR-NIN
Age Limit: Below 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines
