Project Leader - Business Applications recruitment in Pune - For a client of TeamLease Services Ltd

Job Purpose

The Project Leader Business Applications will lead complex Business Applications projects inside IT and deliver business value on a global scale.

Responsible to lead different stakeholders in- and outside of Oerlikon to achieve the project objectives. Throughout the project life cycle the phases and activities are managed to deliver the defined scope.

An understanding to analyze, design, test and deploy business applications, capture stakeholder requirements within a complex IT system is mandatory. A good overview of such an environment regarding interfaces and transferred data as well as “state-of-the-art” technologies is required.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities:

4. Key component of the project leader is a proper planning and consistent tracking of all activities
5. Manage the supplier relationship outside of Oerlikon
6. Prepare and maintain all project documentation such as initiation, delivery plans and if needed budgets
7. Build
8. Collaborate with the various functional teams and other developers to find viable solutions to business problems.
9. Establishes a regular project reporting and overview about timeline, costs and risks
10. Manage assigned resources as appropriate to the implementation of project related activities
11. Run
12. Transforms projects at the end into its operations mode.
13. Closes the project properly at the end
14. Miscellaneous
15. Assists the Applications Support team on resolving issues as they arise.
16. Responsible for the support of IT basic applications or tools like interfaces to support business.
17. Acts as deputy in other projects by other project leaders

Requirements:

Knowledge

• Project realization and operations within an IT application environment of a global organization
• Basic insight into IT and business processes
• Management and implementation of global software projects
• 
  

Skills

Must skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a Dynamics NAV as project lead or consultant
• Experience with SAP
• Wirtschaftsinformaiker FA or comparable qualification
• Knowledge and a fast understanding with business processes
• Basic knowledge in IT infrastructure (AD, permissions, delegations, NST)
• Strong Analytical skills
• Understanding of data relational models
• Team player with strong oral and written communication skills
• English spoken and written
• Traveling (about 40%)

• Knowledge as developer in Talend data integration
• Experience with Java and Web Services development
