Project linked person Job Opportunity in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) purely on temporary basis

Project: "Histological Subtype Specific Gene Expression Profiling of Gastric Cancer in India" 

Qualifications and : Essential: M.Sc. or M.Tech. (at least 55% marks in Bachelor and Experience Master degree). Degree in Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ Biophysics/ Biotechnology. 

Desirable: Candidate having experience in clinical sample collection, knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, real-time PCR etc. will be preferred. 

Tenure of appointment: The duration of the appointment will be for six (06) months from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/terminated earlier, depending on availability of finds & performance of the candidate.

No. Of Post: 01 

Age : Should not exceeding 30 years as on 01 February 2019 with usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ differently abled candidates. 

Pay: Rs. 14000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand only) per month (Consolidated).

Kolmogorov Bhavan) and bring their current resume (signed) in English along with covering letter addressed to the Professor-in-Charge, Biological Sciences Division, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata giving particulars of (a) Name (In block letters),(b) Mailing Address, (c) E-mail Address, (d) Telephone/Mobile No., (e) Parent's/ Spouse's Name, (0 Date of birth, (g) Aadhaar No., (h) Academic Qualifications (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination),(i) Experience (if any),(j) SC/ST/OBC/Differentially abled status along with all attested photocopies of their certificates and also bring the original copies of the certificates for verification of photocopies.
