The PMA is an empowered project management role with full end-to-end responsibility to deliver
and control result, time, budget and quality for specific deal where the customer want to have a top
quality service delivered for Network Services orders. PMA is also systematically assigned to
complex projects.
When a Service Transition SLA ( Service Level Agreement) applies, the PMA is accountable and
responsible for ensuring the compliance to this SLA.
The role of the project manager is to lead a single large network project, or numbers of smaller
network projects and to take responsibility for the achievement of the agreed goals and objectives.
The PMA is accountable for managing all functions acting in the Quote To Bill chain. PMA is
responsible for:
the proactive communication with customer during the quote phase, including
gathering requirements for CAT
Proactive communication with internal teams, including project kick off and during the
delivery;
Managing proactive communication with customer during the delivery phase, when
there are risks or possible delays and including plan Customer Acceptance Tests for
the project
Order prioritization and ensuring priority is respected during RFC delivery phase
Management of the delivery plan at the project level & planning until last site delivery
Responsible of the resource staffing, critical path and implementation risk
management.
Manage cost control during RFC delivery phase
Coordinate CAT execution once orders are being delivered
