The Program Manager shall be responsible for planning, execution and governance of successful delivery of the programs that align with the short and medium term roadmap as well as strategic vision of the Infoworks platform. This individual should be passionate about delivering high quality services in a fast and dynamic environment in working with cross-location and cross-functional engineering teams. This individual should be passionate about technology and at the same time responsible for managing the product lifecycle and service offerings. Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and able to effectively manage multiple work streams.

What You Will Do

• Owns agile release train management across several scrum teams that could be distributed
• Assists with agile ceremonies such as Backlog refinement, Sprint planning, Sprint execution, Demos and Retrospectives
• Assists with developing the Sprint plans bringing together the information on scope, capacity, and timelines
• Coordinates between several scrum teams to achieve the Sprint goal; Drives the scrum of scrum meetings to discuss external dependencies and integration tasks
• Measures team velocity and helps identify areas of improvement to build high velocity agile teams
• Reports on Sprint health using tools such as burn-up / burn-down charts
• Governance of Sprint progress and tracking of engineering goals by measuring a set of metrics that indicate the health, progress, and productivity in areas such as automation, quality, timeline and resource utilization
• Monitors code freeze agreements, helps with bug triage and reviews
• Helps engineering managers and pod leads to provide visibility on engineering activities, enforce engineering processes and run engineering ceremonies (for example, scrums)
• Interfaces with engineering leads / managers and product owners / managers on a daily basis; communicates in a timely and transparent fashion on the progress and issues during the Sprints
• Coaches and guides teams on Agile practices with a focus on developing cross-functional, autonomous scrum teams that are responsible for, and own the end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Works with the engineering leadership team to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.
• Assesses team and process performance; researches and identifies new areas of improvement; and fosters continuous improvement by applying the learning and knowledge
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT/software industry with 4+ years in the capacity of Program
• Manager for large scale enterprise systems or platforms.
• Ability to have a good understanding of the goals and objectives of the program.
• Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
• Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management.
• Strong leadership, management and communication skills.
• Adept with agile scrum based development methodology and driving various ceremonies to deliver through the fast paced release trains cadence.

• An educational background from a college of repute.
• Engineering graduate with an MBA or significant exposure to business management.
• 2+ years of Experience in Data based Product company.
• Ability to operate and communicate at all stakeholder levels.
• Experience in start-up Environment.
