Job Description:

A project manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects while ensuring that these projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within defined scope.

·        Broadly, project manager’s key responsibilities include tracking the “project life cycle,” which consists of five phases (or processes):

o   Initiating - define the main objectives of the project, its purpose, and its scope and identify key internal and external stakeholders, discuss shared expectations, and gain the required authorization necessary to move a project forward.

o   Planning - Once the project is defined, project manager will work with key stakeholders to create an integrated project plan focused on attaining the outlined goals. The plan established during this process helps project managers oversee scope, cost, timelines, risk, quality issues, and communications. It is during this phase that project managers will outline key deliverables and milestones and identify the tasks that must be completed to complete each.

o   Executing – Ensure hassle free and smooth execution of the project by making sure that all required material is available, the team is focussed and have clarity of work, quick solution to issues and lead the team in right direction.

o   Monitoring and Controlling – Regular checks and monitoring the progress of on-going projects and making sure it is meeting its defined scope and milestones.

o   Closing - Work with the client to get formal sign-off that the project is complete and the client is satisfied. Release any resources (budget or personnel) who are no longer needed for the project and review the work of third-party vendors or partners in order to close their contracts and pay their invoices. It is important to document and archive project files for future reference and use.

• Communicating with team members regularly to determine the status of various projects and potential roadblocks that will need to be resolved.
• Communicating with key stakeholders on project progress and ensuring that the project still aligns with changing company initiatives.
• Issue identification and resolution: Throughout the course of any project, it’s common for scope, budget, resource allocation, and other miscellaneous issues to arise.
• Budgeting:  Reviewing budgets each day to ensure that the project does not exceed resource allocations. This may also include reviewing, processing, and approving invoices from outside vendors if the project includes such partnerships.
• Time management and approval: In order to ensure that the project remains on track, many project managers turn to timesheets that allows them to see how their team is spending their time.
• Team-building: manage the team in order to keep them productive and happy. Team-building exercises should be designed to boost morale, particularly after challenging weeks or phases of the project.

Requirement:

• Electrical engineer background with 3 to 5 years in project management min.
• Additional experience in events national/ international preferred
• Experience in handling interior projects preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively , nationally/ internationally
• Team Leader and should motivate the team.
• Strong admin & management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written both (English).
• Should be presentable.
• Timely execution of the projects in a timely manner.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office. (Excel must).
