Our innovative, digital-first English products are loved by thousands of children: Our suite of English products are built to give a distinct advantage to Indian children/users and enable them to become the top 1 % of English readers/speakers. fREADom App (2000+ books/activities at the price of 1 book; adaptive/levelization tech built in),fREADom Live Classes (Interactive Group Classes with top teachers),WOW English Program (Innovative English teaching @ schools) and FAST English Assessment (India’s first standardized reading-skill assessment for children).
Who are the founders? Co-founders are a mix of academicians, marketers and finance professionals from Harvard University, Stanford University, London School of Economics, IIMs, SRCC & MICA; first hand experience of building/working at fast growing businesses.
Location of work & other specifics: Anywhere you want, completely remote (until lockdown). Fast wi-fi, noise-free environment, good mobile signal, and laptop are a must.

Excellent organisation and planning

Ability to run daily stand ups, manage multiple projects and priorities
Ability to balance resources across concurrent projects
Experience with risk management and change management
Experience with JIRA Software
Strong Project management experience
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
Solid understanding of new age technologies associated with digital projects e.g. Mobile / Web Apps including React / Python
Good stakeholder management skills
Ability to communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience of working on both big and small projects to tight deadlines
Evidence of ability to manage teams and understand dependencies between work streams
Good knowledge of the full SDLC and ability to create architectural flows
An understanding of Gitlab is a plus

Stones2Milestones is on a mission to 'Create a Nation of Readers', gifting children the will and skill to read in English.

Freadom is a parent app designed for children aged 3 to 9 to learn to read in English - it provides busy parents with a ready, carefully curated collection of stories, language honing activities, monthly reading competitions, and daily positive news matched to their kids’ reading levels.
Built on 7.5 years of primary and secondary research, it first locates the users reading level and then navigates them to the desired level, basis a proprietary reading scale developed by Stones2Milestones. The aim is to encourage family bonding over time spent reading together from an early age, which studies have found to be the most effective way of nurturing a lifelong reading habit.
We use an AI ready recommendation engine to match users to the most relevant content. Detailed data collection allows us to share regular traction reports for all content on Freadom and customise content for users.
The organisation is in research partnership for impact evaluation with the Human Centered AI division at Stanford University (Prof. Susan Athey) and IIM Calcutta (Prof. Aditi Bhutoria).
