Responsible for management of greenfield/ brownfield investment projects at various Clariant sites in the region. Experience in basic and detailed engineering design is added benefit. Interaction with contractors, vendors, suppliers, internal stakeholders so as to ensure execution of project - on time, within budget and with required quality. Candidate should be willing to travel and stay at site environment for extended period as needed for job completion. Responsibilities Management of small and big investment projects Define the project scope and technical solutions to meet the business case together with the project owner Ensure effective and efficient project management during all project phases Ensure technical implementation to meet all quality, ESHA and legislative requirements Ensure the execution of all required work within budget and schedule Manage and control project risks and initiate corrective measures in case of deviations People Management Manage, motivate and develop project members Ensure an efficient project engineering organisation and operations structure Decide on staffing of projects and integrate internal/external engineers in project team Provide Best-Practice engineering Define binding rules related to investment projects for internal and external project team members Set standards, harmonize tools and provide guidlines for best-practice Arrange and provide expertise/know-how regarding special technical issues and project management Communication and Reporting Strong communication and influence skill to stakeholders Regularly report project progress to steering team.
