Job Description

Advertisement Number: PRect/IP/DOAD/2021/49

Applications are invited for the post of Project Manager in the Department of Cognitive Science IIT Kanpur. The appointment is purely temporary and on a contractual basis.

1. Post Name: Project Manager

2. Number of Post: One

3. Salary Range: 24000-2000-60000

4. Duration of Appointment: Until May 31, 2022 or till the end of the project whichever is earlier.

5. Minimum Qualification and Post qualification Experience: Postgraduate degree + 8 years of relevant experience OR Graduate with 15 years of relevant experience at appropriate level.

6. Job Description for Project Manager:

i. Candidates should be hardworking and should have experience in the following areas: Knowledge of office procedures, maintenance of office records, administration, and purchase procedures. Knowledge of Accounting/Financial related work.

ii. Able to manage various projects, events, Short-Term Courses/Seminar/Conference including the arrangement of Boarding & Lodging, Travels etc of the participants.

iii. Students-related work which includes admission process, scholarship, etc. Ability to work independently and have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
